Welcome to the GATE website!
We are excited for another great year in our GATE classes. Inside this site you will find information about our classes in general, what we do in our different classes, the snack schedule and other items we find interesting and want to share.
GATE Class
In our GATE classes, the main components of our curriculum are critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, the scientific method, social processes and research. Often, we refer to these five domains as "The Five Strands." We also model our classroom after the Montessori classroom, which is “child-centered” not teacher centered.
